The World Restaurant

The World Restaurant is a very new establishment with a prime location and great river views. There is indoor and outdoor seating and on a cool night there are few places in Danang that have a better setting to enjoy a meal and a few drinks. The World has become quite popular quite quickly among locals and even seems to draw its fair share of tourists.

For me, the World is a typical Vietnamese beer hall trying to be bigger and grander than it really is, with prices to match. The food is basic and the menu is typical of what you will find in any beer place on 2/9 street, the portions tend to be a little small for me. The customers seem to be your average beer hall patrons, very loud and they get drunk quite quickly, expect a lot of mot, hai, ba, YOH!

The World Restaurant would be a good option if you want to take a visitor to somewhere a bit cleaner than you average “Nhau” place but it will never become a regular eating spot for me. Try it for yourself, maybe I am just being too fussy, and don’t forget to include your opinion here.
