The move is the valuable effort of the Danang and Quang Nam Hotels Alliance and support of the Danang Department of Health to partly help reduce the infant mortality in Da Nang and Quang Nam. The project will play important role in the Danang and Quang Nam communities.

“I believe that the amount of the donation from the Alliance will help women and new-born children in Danang and Quang Nam to have more opportunities for better health care in the future”, said Mr.Duncan MacLean, General Manager of the Furama Resort Danang, one member of the Danang and Quang Nam Hotels Alliance, adding that, “this coordination will also enhance the effectiveness of high-grade hotels and resorts in Danang and Quang Nam for the good causes and the community in the two localities.”

When the 600-bed hospital comes into operation, expected later this year, the sponsored room will be called Danang and Quang Nam Hotels Alliance room. Additionally, the DQHA will also work together to get other hoteliers in Danang and Hoi An to be involved, to call for support from local people and expats in Danang as well as to organize charity competitions or activities to raise funds for the Hospital.

Acknowledging the great support of the Danang and Quang Nam Hotels Alliance, the Danang Department of Health and the city authorities presented the Certificates to all DQHA members on October 28th.

The clinic has a fully equipped ambulance on stand-by 24 hours a day, to respond to the emergency need of patients. All ambulances have well trained staff doctors and nurses on board to provide treatment on route to hospital.

If you don’t have much faith in the Vietnamese hospitals or you can’t speak much Vietnamese then the family medical practice is the place to go. It is a clean, well run facility better than standards of many western medical clinics.
