This is an update of a previous article on the Sun River Hotel Danang. The Sun River Hotel Danang is in a prime location on Bach Dang Street, across for the Han River and within walking distance to good shops, cafes and restaurants. It is a modern looking building which is well maintained and is staffed by friendly and efficient staff with intermediate levels of English.
I have decided to update this article because of all the positive feedback I have been hearing about this place. Good value, excellent service and very clean are just some of the comments. The hotel also has a breakfast buffet 7.00am to 10am, on the 6th floor with great views and decent food for 60,000VND.
As it is across from the river it has great views, if you have a front facing room, there also good views from the onsite restaurant that provides breakfast for all guests. The rooms range in size a price, all are well decorated, modern and clean. There are some windowless rooms which are best avoided. Internet is provided in the lobby and there is usually a keen bellboy ready to help with any heavy luggage.
Expect to pay between $40 and $60 USD per night depending on the size of the room and number of guests. it is hard to beat this end of Bach Dang street for location. Mumtaz Indian Restaurant, the Thai Restaurant as well as the Bamboo2 Bar are all within walking distance, as is the Cham Museum and Han market.
