Seventeen Saloon originated in Saigon but this location in Da Nang is very nice.
I visit this place every night and have a few drinks before heading out and exploring the town. The staff are very friendly and very fun to talk with. If I can recall correctly, I went there 2 weeks in a row every night to enjoy their live music.
They have Philippine singers and sometimes the English is quite hard to understand, but you’ll know the song once they hit the chorus =)
Domestic beer such as Corona and Coors Light (taste like water in my opinion) are quite pricey. They are priced about 75,000 VND,roughly 5 dollars. It’s a dollar cheaper there than here in Dallas, Texas =)
There are food option also, so if you get a little hungry after all that drinking.
The funny thing I like about this bar is that when your order french fries, don’t expect them to have ketchup, in replacement they will give hot sauce.
Tell the staff there Hieu said Hi! They’ll remember me definitely. Till then, Can’t wait to go back February 2010
