The Phuong Trang Hotel has a wonderful location and is great value for money. Most other river front hotels charge quite a bit for the fantastic river views and convenience of being within walking distance to great restaurants and cafes, The Phuong Trang Hotel is a budget friendly option.
As well as having decent rooms at affordable prices, from 200,000 VND to 500,000 VND, with options for up to 6 people per room, the Phuong Trang Hotel also has an on site travel agency that can arrange all onward travel, ticket booking and even hotel bookings in other cities in Vietnam. The hotel is well organised, the rooms are basic but clean and the staff speak reasonable English.
The location is the selling point of this hotel, it is within walking distance to the Han Market, Bamboo2 Bar, Cool Spot Restaurant, Thai restaurant, Mumtaz Indian Restaurant and right across the from the Han river and some wonderful photo opportunities.
Danang does not have that many budget options aimed at foreign visitors, the Phuong Trang Hotel is the exception and I would recommend it if you are looking for a great location and a great price.
