The Bamboo2 Bar will re-open tonight in a new location only 100 meters or so from the old place. The new place looks really nice and with 3 floors should be able to accommodate more people more comfortably.
I would appreciate any feedback below on the changes at Bamboo2 and the new atmosphere. it will still be the place to be to watch the fireworks festival next weekend.

I wouldnt say that you visit bamboo bar for the food. Its a bar.
While the overall seating has increased, the inside bar area feels smaller than the old one. Very low ceilings. However, if one is willing to go upstairs or outside, there is more seating.
And yes, it is a bar, but I eat there all the time, and while it isn’t the typical vietnam speed order, it is normal speed for western food. The aussie steak was perfect (seems to be default medium rare, which comes out real nice.
