Last night I was lucky enough to attend the opening ceremony of two new companies, LaMode Fashion and KidIdol. Both of these companies aim to provide training to young models in Danang. The opening was a roaring success with a large enthusiastic crowd in attendance at the Indochina Riverside Towers Shopping Complex. The opening festivities included childrens’ fashion show singing and and dance performances as well as professional singers.
The evening kicked off with the kids displaying their talents on the catwalk followed by two musical performances that for me were the highlight of the night. This was followed by professional singers and speeches by the MC. The Ladies Fall Winter Fashion Show was next with some stunning designs by local designer Nguyet Truc. More fashions shows followed with the kids teaming up with the professional models then a one off auction of one of the gowns was held.
The night ended with cocktails and viewing of the outfits worn throughout the fashion show. All items were designed and created by Tuy Huong Fashion, 117 Nguyen Van Linh. The evening was organised by MPA Corp. Below are some of the photos from the night it was so good to see the kids get so involved, they were so enthusiastic and they put on such a great performance.
