Mingle In Danang

I have added a new element to this website, it is called mingle and is a facebook like application that will help you connect with other expats or travelers in Danang.

To use it simply register your name and email, a password will be sent to you. Login to your account then change the password (the default password is difficult to remember. You can also adjust a few other settings: name, location, biography and even upload a picture of yourself. To keep the site more honest and open I recommend using a real picture of yourself.

Once you have updated your information you can search for friends through the directory menu. As with facebook, just make a friend request with others you would like to keep in touch with. Check your friend requests regularly to see who wants to contact you.

HOW TO USE MINGLE

It will take a little getting used to but play around with it and I’m sure you will get the hang of it soon.

The ACTIVITY area is where you write comments (or even full length posts), you can also see what others are writing and reply to their comments.

The SETTINGS area will let you change your information, and upload a photo. You can also set your profile to private or public, which means either only your friends can see your profile or everybody can see it.

The FRIENDS area is where you can see who you are friends with then click on their profile to see what they have been upto.

The FRIEND REQUEST area is just that, see who has requested you as a friend.

The DIRECTORY area lists all of the members of InDanang.com.

Don’t forget to change your password in the settings area to something that will be easy to remember.
