The Guide Award for excellence performance in 2009-2010
The five-star Furama Resort Danang has just put one more award in its own “Hall of Fame” of various national and international prestigious accolades won in 2010 such as the Golden Dragon Award and the Top Trade Services Award for outstanding business performance. By winning The Guide Award 2010 of the tourism and hospitality magazine The Guide – Vietnam Economic Times, the Furama Resort Danang is honored to receive this Award for ten consecutive years.
In an effort to provide our guests with the most perfect holiday, worthy of the faith they put in the resort, Furama Resort Danang allows all guests to enjoy the breathtaking views of the Danang Beach and experience true luxury of newly refurbished Ocean Studio Suites by increasing the current number of twenty one to forty by the end of 2010. Our new Italian Restaurant Don Cipriani’s also brings an authentic experience of traditional Italian cuisine besides a wonderful variety of Asian and international cuisines. The resort also adds more exciting recreational activities with newly-equipped facilities to give guests satisfactory stay and relaxation. Besides, by using a solar energy system and energy-saving bulbs and reducing the amount of chemicals in laundry operation and many others, all initiatives signal the resort’s commitment to support the global agenda to reduce waste and preserve the environment.
To be acknowledged and highly regarded by tourism enterprises and government agencies, the annual Guide Awards are to encourage and honor outstanding tourism enterprises in Vietnam that contribute to the economic sector’s improvement, the sustainable development of tourism. This year’s Award is the eleventh to be presented, with the theme “Sustainable Tourism Development and Environmental Protection”.

The awarding ceremony will be held at the International Convention Palace of Furama Resort Danang at 5:00pm on 25th September, the World Tourism Day. Within the framework of the ceremony, there will be other activities such as Green Lotus Award to tourism enterprises for environmental protection, photo exhibition and the conference on “Impact of Climate Changes and Potential Solutions”.
