This is a message from the Chill Out Cafe thanking the Danang community and a few other people in particular for making the Chill Out a success. It is with regret that the Chill Out Cafe closed it’s doors for the last time on Sunday October 2nd.
The Chill Out Cafe would like to thank everyone who visited the cafe and made it a great place to hang out.
A special thank you goes to Bill Ervin for the huge photo of My Khe Beach and the wonderful panorama from Thuan Phuoc Bridge. Thanks to Ron Daniels for taking over the kitchen and cooking up a storm. Also, thank you to everyone who donated books to our bookshelf.
Of course a big thank you to Joe, Minh, Andrew and the rest of Supergroup for making the live music nights a roaring success. Thanks to Gemma and Sadie for their invaluable feedback in setting up the Chill Out Cafe.
The biggest thank you goes to all the staff who worked at the cafe since it opened in April, especially to the loyal cook, Tam.
Same Location Different Cafe
The site of the Chill Out Cafe – 36 Thai Phien Street – will be taken over and re-opened at the end of October. It will still be a cafe with a different look and feel. The location is great just across the street from Danang Square, the city’s latest suermarket.
