It is hard not to see the Blue Snow Hotel on your way to the beach from Danang’s city centre. It is on Pham Van Dong Street, quite a long walk from the beach but a manageable walk from the city centre and the riverfront.
The Blue Snow Hotel is a large nice looking place, it is very well appointed inside and has a decent restaurant on the ground floor, buffet breakfast is 50,000 VND. The staff are nice and friendly, good English is spoken. At the moment the hotel is holding a few events to promote their recent opening.
Rooms are priced from $35 USD to 90 USD for foreigners, that’s right there is dual pricing at this hotel, Vietnamese prices range from 450,000 VND to 1,000,000 VND. The double pricing policy is so blatant that they have room rates advertised at reception and then they wrote down the higher price that I was expected to pay. I know other hotels do this but the guests don’t usually know the price difference between foreigners and locals.

I can understand why there is a different price if you are a westerner but…having read this I will stay away from this place. Regardless of any other qualities it may have.
